HCSL undertakes infrastructure projects for a range of regional Clients. With our own in house plant alongside skilled operatives, we are able to offer Clients the benefit of a one stop service with reduced interface from other contractors on site which reduces risks and predetermines programme surety.

HCSL has a strong track record in the design and construction of a wide range of surface water and foul sewer drainage projects. We undertake a variety of projects from minor works through to large scale attenuation tank projects.
HCSL has undertaken large and various types of retaining wall structures for Regional Clients in some difficult locations. Occasionally as part of a large contract however in some cases we are approached to deal with just restraining soil to unnatural slopes. HCSL has the availability to deal with undesirable slopes or in areas where the landscape needs to be shaped severely and engineered for more specific purposes such as new housing developments and underpasses.
HCSL has a strong track record of undertaking large ground work foundations for industrial buildings, wind farms, basements, underground car parks and bases for grain silos and oil tanks.
HCSL has undertaken a wide range of different bridge projects. We have generally carried out them out on wind farms and opencast sites including temporary bridge design with our fabrication workshop building the bridges. HCSL have now moved into constructing new bridges for developers and Local Authorities recently with great success. We are able to undertake the construction of new bridges including the refurbishment of existing bridges. We also offer the supply and installation of temporary bridges.
HCSL has a long lasting track record in flood alleviation works including basins, underground storage tanks and river realignment and modelling works. We undertake many schemes for Housing developers with the SUDs planning requirements as well as local authority and landowners water management. Our schemes range in value from simple £10,000 schemes to multi million pounds.
HCSL has a strong track record in the design and construction of balance of plant for wind farm developments. At HCSL we undertake the design of the access tracks, turbine bases, install the new services including the construction of the control building. HCSL acts as Principal Contractor and travel nationwide undertaking these types of projects.
HCSL has built up a long lasting reputation in the North east for working with Local Authorities and the Local Ports for undertaking and working on river and coastal schemes.
